- 800 g Pork ribs
- 4 tbsp Hoisin
- 2 tbsp Light soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tsp Chinese five spices
- 1/2 tsp Red food colouring
Create a sauce by combining hoisin, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, brown sugar and garlic. Optionally add red food colouring.
Add the pork ribs and your sauce to the slow cooker. Stir well, ensuring the ribs are coated.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Optional: carefully place the ribs on a baking tray and place under a hot grill for 5-10 minutes, turning and brushing the sauce from the slow cooker.
