Ingredients
  

  • 800 g Pork ribs
  • 4 tbsp Hoisin
  • 2 tbsp Light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Chinese five spices
  • 1/2 tsp Red food colouring

Instructions
 

  • Create a sauce by combining hoisin, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, brown sugar and garlic. Optionally add red food colouring.
  • Add the pork ribs and your sauce to the slow cooker. Stir well, ensuring the ribs are coated.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • Optional: carefully place the ribs on a baking tray and place under a hot grill for 5-10 minutes, turning and brushing the sauce from the slow cooker.
