Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Pork shoulder diced
  • 3 tbsp White miso paste
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 10 g Ginger minced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced

Optional, to serve

  • 250 g Pak choi
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • To the slow cooker combine diced pork shoulder, miso paste, honey, light soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger and garlic. Stir well.
  • Cook for 3-4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low.

Optional, to serve

  • In a hot frying pan, with a little neutral flavoured oil, fry pak choi for 1 minute.
  • Spoon some sauce from the slow cooker over the pak choi and fry for a further 1-2 minutes until soft.
  • Serve the pork with your choice of rice or noodles, add the pak choi and sprinkle over any garnish such as sesame seeds or spring onion.
