Slow Cooker Miso and Honey Pork
Soft slow cooked pork shoulder in a sweet and savoury sauce

- 500 g Pork shoulder diced
- 3 tbsp White miso paste
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Light soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 10 g Ginger minced
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
Optional, to serve
- 250 g Pak choi
- Sesame seeds
To the slow cooker combine diced pork shoulder, miso paste, honey, light soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger and garlic. Stir well.
Cook for 3-4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low.
Optional, to serve
In a hot frying pan, with a little neutral flavoured oil, fry pak choi for 1 minute.
Spoon some sauce from the slow cooker over the pak choi and fry for a further 1-2 minutes until soft.
Serve the pork with your choice of rice or noodles, add the pak choi and sprinkle over any garnish such as sesame seeds or spring onion.
