Slow Cooker Moroccan Style Chicken
Moroccan inspired marinated chicken thighs, slow cooked to perfection.

To marinate
- 6 Chicken thighs I use bone-in, skin removed
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1.5 tbsp Ras el Hanout
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 cloves Garlic Minced
- 2 Zest of lemons
To add to the slow cooker
- 2 Lemons sliced
- 250 ml Chicken stock
- 100 g Olives Mixed, or just black
- 500 g Potatoes Chopped into bitesize chunks
- 60 g Raisins
To serve
- bunch Parsley fresh, chopped
Create your marinade by combining Ras el Hanout, paprika, salt, olive oil, lemon zest and garlic.
Combine chicken thighs (skin removed) with the marinade. Store in a sealed container or plastic food bag for 2-24 hours.
After marinating, in the slow cooker combine the chicken with slices of lemon, chicken stock, potatoes, olives and raisins.
Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8.
Serve in bowls and top with plenty of freshly chopped parsley.
