Greek Style Slow Cooker Lamb Wraps
Bring the Mediterranean to your kitchen with our Greek Style Lamb Wraps. After a low and slow cook, stuff tender lamb into flatbreads along with tzatziki and a handful of other toppings. Perfect for a family meal or a gathering with friends, these wraps are fun to assemble and tasty to eat. This recipe offers a straightforward yet delicious way to enjoy the rich flavours of Greece any day of the week.

Lamb neck is a fantastic choice for slow cooking, thanks to its rich, deep flavour and marbled fat. This cut of meat benefits greatly from a low and slow cook to render the fat, resulting in fall-apart meat. While it’s often overlooked in favour of more popular cuts, lamb neck offers a cost-effective alternative that doesn’t skimp on taste.
As always, browning the meat upfront isn’t a must. However, for a dish like this where the lamb is the strongest flavour – I would recommend it if you have the time. It will add a deeper flavour and lovely colour.
The rest of the ingredients are very straightforward. All you need is a lemon, a few cloves of garlic, olive oil, dried oregano, black pepper and some water. Optionally you can put a bit of rosemary into the slow cooker to infuse with the oil. Bay leaves would work as well instead. If you don’t have either, then don’t worry about it!
To serve
Next, get ready to assemble your lamb wraps. First warm the flatbreads. Then we spoon on tzatziki, add chunks of the slow cooked lamb and top with crumbled feta, sliced red onion and fresh parsley. However, you can add any of your favourite toppings. Instead, why not try pickled red onion, pomegranate seeds or fresh tomatoes?
