Slow Cooker Greek Lamb Kleftiko
Try switching up your traditional Sunday lamb with this fantastic Mediterranean recipe. This traditional Greek dish involves slow cooking lamb with herbs and white wine until gloriously tender. Pair with your favourite sides and salads, for a fabulous spread.

Lamb shoulder is at the heart of this recipe. After a low and slow cook this will simply fall off the bone. Just make sure that when you buy your lamb, you choose a cut that fits into your slow cooker! I use a 3.5L slow cooker and a 1.2kg cut fits just fine. Baby potatoes go into the slow cooker in this recipe, along with the lamb shoulder. They will soak up all of the flavours in the pot and give you a ready made side dish for serving.
To serve
We serve this with pitta bread, feta cheese and seasonal greens, to make a fantastic spread that can be enjoyed all year round. Feeling more adventurous? Have a go at creating some of your very own flat breads to pair with this dish.

Made this tonight’s for my partner and parents, they all said it was so good and asked for the recipe. The lamb fell apart and was so flavourful!
It’s amazing
Made this today for our tea. Followed a few recipes in the past for this dish, nothing compares to this absolutely mouth watering dish, served with some feta ontop and crusty bread. 😋 yummy. X
